These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of shop.techchefstx.com and any purchase from Tech Chefs / TechChefs (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Tech Chefs sells commercial products for restaurants and multi-site operators, including drive-thru parts, lighting, security equipment, and related supplies.

2. Who may buy
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. If you buy for a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind that business.
3. Products and pricing
Product descriptions, photos, and specs are provided in good faith. We may correct errors, update pricing, or limit quantities at any time. Prices shown at checkout are the prices that apply to your order unless we confirm otherwise in writing. Wholesale or project pricing may differ from online prices.
4. Orders
An order is an offer to buy. We may accept, decline, or cancel an order (for example: stock issues, pricing errors, shipping limits, or suspected fraud). If we cancel after payment, we will refund you.
5. Payment
You agree to pay all charges due at checkout, including tax and shipping. Payment is processed through Shopify and its payment providers. You confirm that the payment method you use is yours and authorized.
6. Shipping and will-call

Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier takes the shipment, or when you pick up at will-call. Inspect packages on arrival. For damaged freight, contact us within 48 hours with photos of the box and product.
7. Returns, exchanges, and refunds
Our return rules are part of these Terms and are stated at https://techchefstx.com/returns, including the 30-day window, restocking fee, and exceptions for defective or incorrectly shipped items. If this site’s refund policy and that page differ, the Shipping & Returns page controls for returns.
8. Warranties
Unless we state otherwise in writing, products are sold as commercial goods. Manufacturer warranties, if any, are between you and the manufacturer. We do not promise that products will meet every job-site requirement without proper installation, configuration, and compatible equipment. Installation, programming, and field labor are separate services unless quoted in writing.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, downtime, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim related to a product or order is limited to the amount you paid us for that product or order.
10. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site (scraping, hacking, fraud, or interfering with the store). We may suspend access that we believe violates these Terms.

12. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
